Levi Lane Farm and Homeschooling co-op was born from the hearts of parents committed to strengthening their community and nurturing their children. Our mission is to preserve the innocence and curiosity of childhood, promote natural living, and ensure emotional safety. We aim to cultivate an environment of kindness, patience, joy, love, faithfulness, and peace.
Here at the farm, we are dedicated to teaching our children where our food comes from and the kinds of foods that nourish our bodies. We also focus on how to care for the animals and the crops we grow, while fostering a deep respect for the land that sustains us.
We believe education is a lifelong journey that extends far beyond the classroom. Our mission is to help children engage meaningfully with the world around them. Through hands-on learning, we encourage creative thinking, awareness, and a deep love for the farm. We are committed to creating a nurturing environment where our children can grow and thrive.

2 Day and 3 Day a week Co-op Description -
In this project-based math class, students learn by doing. Each unit centers on a real-world
challenge—designing a small garden bed, planning a snack stand, mapping a hiking trail, or building a mini-bridge. Along the way, learners practice number sense, measurement, geometry, data, and early algebra through concrete tasks: measuring and converting units, creating scale drawings, analyzing survey results, setting and revising budgets, and justifying solutions.
Science -
This is a discovery-driven science course where questions lead and experiments follow. Students investigate living systems, earth science, and physical science through labs and fieldwork—testing water quality, building simple sensors, engineering wind/solar devices, and running plant growth trials. Learners move through the full inquiry cycle: ask, predict, test, analyze, and share.
Language Arts -
Bring reading, writing, speaking, and media skills to life through seeds, soil, and seasonal stories. In Growing Stories, students K–8 use hands-on gardening and farming experiences as the springboard for purposeful literacy: observing, researching, writing, performing, and publishing work that matters to their community.
Computer Science Co-op - This hands-on course introduces students to the exciting world of drones through the lens of computer science. Students will explore the fundamentals of programming, algorithms, and problem-solving by coding flight paths and designing autonomous drone missions. Along the way, they’ll learn how drones use sensors, GPS, and computer vision to navigate and interact with their environment.
Topics include:
By the end of the course, students will not only gain experience piloting drones but will also develop a deeper understanding of how coding and computational thinking drive modern technology. This class blends creativity, engineering, and programming—making computer science take flight!
Science Class - This dynamic science course connects students to the natural world above and below the water’s surface. Through hands-on exploration, students will study both gardening and marine life, discovering how plants and animals work together to support healthy ecosystems.
In the gardening unit, students will plant, grow, and care for their own gardens while learning about soil, pollinators, composting, and sustainability. They’ll see firsthand how sunlight, water, and nutrients shape the growth of plants and the health of our environment.
In the fish and marine science unit, students will dive into the study of aquatic life, exploring fish anatomy, adaptations, food chains, and ecosystems. Activities and observations will help students understand the vital connections between waterways, oceans, and conservation.
By combining life science on land and under the sea, this course nurtures curiosity, environmental awareness, and stewardship—empowering students to see themselves as caretakers of the world around them. And so much more!
Classes will be held on Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Before Care and After Care is available.
